If you visit the RJs factory, you may be wondering why we're all smiling so much. Well, we always smile at RJs—it's hard not to when you're making the world's best licorice—but we're also thrilled to have won the Exporter of the Year award.

The award means a lot to us, not only as a recognition of success, but because we're a family owned and operated New Zealand business standing tall on the world's confectionery stage. We're proud to be creating jobs and doing our part for the New Zealand economy, as well as making the softest, tastiest licorice your mouth has ever experienced.

The award is run by ExportNZ Wellington and the Wellington Chamber of Commerce. It acknowledges export earnings, growth and profit, leadership, strategy, and commitment to quality. Overall, the award recognises a decade of developing our export markets and our constant commitment to finding new ways to improve our licorice. We can now proudly claim we have the best tasting licorice in the world and a new look bag for our international customers that clearly stands apart from other confectionery brands, highlighting all that is good with RJs and NZ. For the RJs team, the award is a special pat on the back for giving 110% every day we go to work.

As part of winning the supreme award, we took home a very nice trophy which we will proudly display in our Levin factory shop.
